Please note it is with much regret that Wickford Extended Services is unable to offer a direct holiday activity programme for the forthcoming May half term. This financial year has seen a dramatic reduction in funding for the Extended Services programme from County. To this end, the Wickford Schools have kindly funded the a more minimal service to ensure Wickford continues to benefit from the holiday programme when it most counts. We are therefore happy to announce that a full programme of activities will go ahead in the Summer and Easter holiday only. We will be able to continue to offer 50% discount for families receiving Free School Meals and one to one support so that children with special needs can access any activity they choose. As per our policy we will organise affordable and accessible activities for children age 0 to 19 to enjoy along with family in some cases. We are currently working on a draft summer programme which will be circulated to all children via book bags and school registers the week commencing 11th June 2013. The full programme will be available to book on line from Monday 25th June 2013. For information and in preparation for planning please note that we will be offering activities from the 24th July through to the 30th August every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
May Half Term
Bookings will be taken independantly by providers during May Half Term, Wickford Extended Services will resume their normal booking system for the Summer 2013 programme on 25th June.

Please note the following information regarding booking activities:
To book an activity please select the tab at the top of the screen Bookable Activities
A list of the activities planned will be displayed, you can either scroll through the list to view all activities or use the calendar displayed and search by date.
To read full details of an activity please click on the activity title.
To book the activity you will need to create an account and new log in. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR EXISTING LOG IN IS NO LONGER VALID.
Please note when you initially register you will be asked to retrieve a password automatically sent to the email address you have stated. You will then need to use this password to complete creating your account. If you do not find an email in your inbox please check your SPAM/JUNK mail as it may be there.
Please note that the shopping basket facility allows you to make multiple bookings and payment for only one child at a time. You will have to start again for an additional child and do the same through to payment.

For each activity you book you will receive the following set of emails:
1. Booking Request Acknowledged: This email will confirm we have received your booking – this is not confirmation that the activity is going ahead
2. Booking Confirmed: This email will confirm that you have secured a place on the activity and it will be going ahead – full details of what child needs for the activity will be included in this email. No additional confirmations will be issued unless the activity requires specific instructions.
3. Booking Rejected: This email will be sent if a) your cash or cheque payment has not been received within the time specified to secure your place on the activity or b) participant numbers are too low for the activity to go ahead and therefor we will reject your booking and provide a refund via paypal or as a cheque depending on how you paid.
4. Booking Cancelled: This email will be sent if YOU cancel the activity booked, you no longer have to phone us to cancel an activity. Refunds will not be issued for cancelled bookings only at the discression of the Wickford Extended Services team, please call Rachel Voller on 01268 562879 or email: admin1@wickfordextendedservices.org.uk to discuss your reasons for cancellation.
